Core Advantages of Engaging Our Office
Over 15 Years in Succession Law
Our practice has focused on Thai inheritance and estate matters since 2009. That depth of experience shapes how we read a case and anticipate the questions a court will ask.
A Senior Advocate Leads Every File
You will not find your matter delegated to a junior with six months of experience. The advocate who advises you at the outset remains responsible for your file throughout.
Fixed, Stated Fees
Our three core services carry stated fees. For more complex matters, we provide a written estimate before any work begins. There are no hidden charges or unexplained invoices.
Written Advisory Notes at Each Stage
After every review and at each significant milestone, you receive a written note in plain language. You will always know where you stand and what your choices are.
Pace That Respects Your Circumstances
We do not push families toward decisions they are not ready to make. Our timeline adapts to what the courts require and what you, as a family, are in a position to manage.
Northeast Thailand Court Familiarity
Our practice is built around the courts of Nakhon Ratchasima Province. We know the local procedures, registrars, and the specific interpretive tendencies of the regional bench.
In More Detail
Each Benefit Explained
Professional Expertise in Thai Succession Law
Thai inheritance law sits at the intersection of several legal domains — civil law, land registry procedure, family law, and court process. A practitioner without specific experience in succession matters may not anticipate the complications that arise when, for example, a deceased held unregistered land, had children from multiple relationships, or left a will that does not meet the formal requirements of Book VI of the Civil and Commercial Code.
At Nakhon Advocates, succession law is not a minor part of a broader practice. It is what we do. Our advocates have handled probate eligibility questions, contested wills, administrator disputes, and complex multi-party estate litigation over many years. That concentration of experience allows us to spot issues early, advise realistically, and approach the courts with confidence.
A Methodical, Documented Process
Every engagement follows a clear process: an initial consultation to understand the circumstances; a written advisory note setting out our assessment; agreement on scope and fee; and then the work itself, with written updates at each significant stage. Nothing is left implicit.
This approach means that you are never relying on a verbal conversation you had months ago. The written record exists, is yours to keep, and can be shared with other family members who need to understand the position.
Personal, Considered Client Service
Inheritance matters bring families to legal practitioners at one of the most difficult periods of their lives. We recognise that. Our approach to client communication is unhurried, clear, and respectful of the emotional weight of the situation.
We are available by telephone, email, and in person at our office on Chom Phon Road. We respond to enquiries within one working day and do not leave clients uncertain about the status of their matter.
Transparent, Reasonable Fees
Legal advice on inheritance matters need not come with opaque billing. Our probate eligibility review is ฿1,900. Heir dispute representation begins at ฿9,100. Comprehensive estate litigation begins at ฿10,700. For engagements that extend beyond these defined scopes, we provide a written estimate before any additional work is undertaken.
We believe that families should be able to make an informed decision about engaging legal counsel without uncertainty about what it will cost them.
A Realistic View of Outcomes
We do not tell clients what they want to hear. We tell them what the law provides, what the courts are likely to accept, and what the realistic range of outcomes looks like given the facts at hand. Families who have engaged other advisers before coming to us sometimes tell us they wish they had received that kind of honest assessment earlier.
Our advice is designed to help you make well-considered decisions — not to prolong an engagement or create a false impression of what litigation can achieve.

What Makes Us Different
Distinguishing Features of Our Practice
Inheritance-Only Practice
We do not practise commercial law, property conveyancing, or criminal defence. Our entire professional focus is on what happens to a person's estate after death — which means everything we learn, every precedent we study, and every court visit we make is in service of that one area of law.
Written Engagement Letter Before Any Work Begins
Every engagement begins with a written letter setting out what we will do, what we will charge, and on what basis either party may end the arrangement. You are never committed to more than what you have agreed to in writing.
Sensitive Handling of Family Dynamics
Where multiple family members are seeking advice in the same estate, we are careful to avoid conflicts of interest and to communicate in a way that does not inflame existing tensions. We work for our client — not for the situation as a whole.
Remote Consultation Available
Many inheritance matters involve family members in different cities or abroad. Our initial and advisory consultations can be conducted by telephone or video call, making it straightforward for the whole family to participate regardless of location.
